Buddy has a 1971 Buick GS 455 Convertible. Has stock height springs front and rear, and has adjustable upper/lower control arms in the rear. Engine made 475hp and 540tq on an engine dyno. It's a street cruiser, will rarely if ever see the track. Want to be able to make this hook up on the street and still have decent handling/ride. What front/rear shocks should he look into using?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was thinking adjustables for the rear, and maybe a Bilstein (if they make them) or something up front. He'll pay for quality, but it can't be anything too outlandish. Any suggestions?
