Default New Mac is most unrepairable notebook to date

I'm all for keeping the end user out of your computer and screwing things up (It's one of the reasons why standard computers have as many issues as they do), but making it so that you can't upgrade the RAM or Hard Drive? REALLY?

I guess milking people for RAM and hard drive upgrades didnt make them enough money. May as well make the customer buy a whole new Macbook if they want a beefier machine.

What percentage of people are interested in self-repair? If you answered almost none you'd be correct.

Customer brings broken laptop to Apple Store.
Apple store hands customer a new laptop.
    The end.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Again, I don't disagree with that Mark. What I disagree with is making it so that if you want your device's RAM or Hard Drive upgraded, sorry about your luck. Go to a MAC store and pay their pricing. It's nickle and diming people who are already paying a massive mark up for a device that honestly isn't superior enough to merit such a mark up. More proof that Apple Junkies are out of touch with reality.
