Default Stuff from when Miller visited the shop earlier this year...

Too many videos for the picture forum....too many pictures for the video forum!

I've been on a long medical leave this summer. ECU tendon somehow got jacked up in each arm, so I haven't welded since June and I'm out until December. But before I went out Miller visited. I was pretty nervous, but we had a blast and I think the videos turned out really slick.

This clip is just kind of a primer about a bike Keith and I are building together. Not much action, but if you're curious about the build, this is the goal.(now delayed due to my surgeries, but still gonna happen)

It's my fault for making it look so easy.

Here's the first project we recorded. I'd never built an oil tank for a bike before, but I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out. Some pretty neat welding shots in the vid too.

Here's the gas tank. Kind of a quick clip. I didn't really get too much into technique or specific concerns, but I did want to explain maybe why you'd want to tig braze something instead of weld it. In retrospect I wish I woulda gone more in depth, but this filming thing was a pretty new experience for me

Here's an interview they did with me about my background. Miller also put up a nice written post on their site with some additional content: http://www.millerwelds.com/resources...brown-dog-weld

And I did kind of a "step by step" on how I make a belt buckle.

There are a couple other clips that'll be up on their Owner's Club site...one is up now, another might be down the road.

Anyways, hope you guys dig it. I've been a Miller guy since I struck my first arc, so this is kind of a dream come true for me!

Other than you needing a haircut and shave ( ) it's very cool! Hope you get back at it really soon.

Real jobs are severely over rated. So are shaves.
Hope the tendons heal up and you can get back to making cool stuff.
Is it just me, or is the United States of America going further and faster downhill by the day??

Awesome videos. Not sure if I am more jealous of the welder or your welding skills!
