Well, if you arent ready you dont go. If you are racing someone and you take off and they take off, are you going to slow down and ask "Hey are we racing?"

Maybe that's the case in Detroit but that isn't always the case, it's all in the negotiations. I haven't run for big $$ but I always stipulated that once you signal you're ready & the flag drops it's a race I don't leave twice. We've also always had people watching the launch if you leave early you lose, I made it habit of taping the start because I've been acused of leaving early, many times because of how hard my car would launch. That was a while ago in a place far, far away.

If you're racing for money make sure you know what the rules are before you line up.

Knock the guy all you want but he paid my way down to Chicago and back (in cash!) just like he said he would and then treated us very well. I will always treat people based on how they treat me before I will judge them or write mean things about them based on some video, or what someone else said, or whatever.

I watched it 5 times it's great!

And let's get real you are typically the biggest basher of all although my post was meant to be to MM as a whole. Great vid though for sure.
