How many runs did GM make at Milan making that video trying to convince their customers the car would run 11's "all day" after a bunch of magazines drivers showed up at Press Launch and started turning out high 12's and low 13's from 108-113 using the infallible launch control? I remember when SVT put out that video of the 500 running 11.50s@127 at Milan that same week...oh wait.

I'll declare a stalemate with you. They won't say what they run so I can't publicly prove it to you, and you won't believe it's faster than a ZL1 because you think they are hiding it.
You are of course correct. Ford spent about $200,000 to put a car on a plane, fly it over to Germany with engineers and drivers, rented private garage space, and then ran a time just to keep it secret. I hear Egypt is beautiful this time of year, especially around DENIAL.

There is a picture of the new Rolls Royce testing on the Ring. Something tells me we won't be hearing the time it ran...

Was the ATS Ring time ever officially announced. I know in one of the ATS videos you heard the LDE say seconds while looking at a stop watch leading everyone to assume it ran a time of whatever minuets and those seconds, but was the time ever released in any sort of formal manner?

Yeah, no doubt! This is the first time I've looked at this thread in a long time and it's even dumber than I expected. LOL I guess the banter is kinda fun but jeez, what a polarizing subject.

I OWN a GT500 (2010). Great car. I've never had it even close to 10/10ths. I'm not that good. I still really like the car. Sure it's my "brand" ( previous Mustang owner) but I'm not blinded by loyalty.

I'll tell you one thing I really dig about the ZL1 is the auto trans option. Lethal drag set-up. It may me be sacrilegious but that would be a great option on the GT500.

GM said the 2014 Stingray will run 0-60 in under 4.0 seconds. There, it's in print. But can you believe the 2013 GT-R can do it in under three?! (2.7 seconds). Quarter mile in 10.8 too. Damn!

    Ok, carry on. Lol

"We've done simulations. We predict that the ZL1 will be quicker to 60 than the [2013] GT500." - Mom jeans wearing tub ass. I like that better than "Find New Roads." "Simulations. We've Done Them."

In all seriousness, the ZL1 is a cool car, and if I were in the market for a $55k 4100 lb, auto trans, road course car that ran "mid 12's at 114 all day long", it would definitely be my choice.
