I went from a woman's size 18 to size 4...
I went from a women's size 9 shoe to a size 7 1/2 - 8.

My ex wife has been giving me her size small and mediums since she's an L now. Ironically, she used to always tease me about my weight.... "Yea, well who's the "Fat Bastard" now Bitch!" .
We still tease each other.

So I don't know if this is too personal, but how is the family taking it? From the above comment, it doesn't sound all that bad

Either way, I read through the whole first thread awhile back and what you did takes a lot of courage

No worries... I have thick skin Don't forget I used to be a Marine... I've dealt with it all.

Not at all. My ex-wife and I are still very close. I spent a lot of time at her place doing sleep overs. She actually lived with my older sister when I filed from Divorce and had her move out.
We both were not in love with each other. Both our Families pushed us and put this played out emphasis on marriage. We got married too fast. No hard feelings here.

Neither was she mad that I still married her knowing that I was trans. When she came to the US, she was actually working at UCLA after her Neurological seminar she participated in 100+ panel Transgender MRI and Cat Scan study. So she's fully aware, and was already pretty educated on women like me.

The rest of my Family is Christian and although Jesus ate with theives, lepers, and outcasts, many of his "Followers" tend to judge and hate.
I lost about 2/5 of my Family. No biggie. I'll continue waiting for them.

Other than that... Family is all good. Most of my Family members are impressed and are now even proud!

I'd say you got lucky! The remaining group may never come around but that's on them. Shake it off and live for the ones who do
