Default 2007 ford fusion front wheel bearing replacement

ok how hard is it to replace the front wheel bearing on a 07 fusion. I see by google searching they are prone to failure, and have a friend with one toasted. Will i need a press, or is it a hub assembly? While working at Ford in Dearborn i think this is the only hub bearing i never had to replace...lol

    Thanks for any help fellas...

Do you still need this info? If so, PM me with your email address and I will send you the 12 page procedure (I'm not joking, 12 pages.) I bet you could use a "hub tamer" and save A LOT OF WORK.

    Josh,
Do you still have access to the 12 page procedure for changing the front wheel bearing on an 07 Fusion?

I'm sorry that I just saw this.

FYI, there are awesome special tools out that let you replace the bearing while the knuckle stays on the vehicle. They save a lot of time. The 12 page procedure I can give you is the LONG way of doing it but you would still need a press to remove the hub and bearing after you remove the knuckle.
I personally use the OTC hub grappler and I don't have to remove the knuckle from the vehicle.
